Her doctoral dissertation, The Impact of Yoga on Psychological Health in Older Adults, won national awards from the American Psychological Association (Division 47) and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. Dr Bonura has been practicing yoga for over twenty years and teaching yoga since 1997. She is a triple-certified yoga instructor, Registered with the Yoga Alliance, and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
