Last year Indian films were in full swing
Last year, at the 95th Academy Awards, the Telugu film RRR was nominated in the Best Original Song category and also won. However, this time no Indian film could even reach the Oscar short list. India’s official entry could not make it to the 2018 short list.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and ABC announced that the 96th Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The show will be held at the Dolby Theater in Ovation Hollywood. It will be broadcast live from ABC in more than 200 countries around the world.
